W7 R2 Complete (In Spite Of Low-Flying Gremlins)

Gremlins out in force today during my run, with my old 'friends' "Why Are We Bothering" and "Let's Just Go Home And Curl Up With A Hot Water Bottle", not to mention the old-faithful; "Pain". My saving grace of Motivation was also sadly missing, but luckily together Stubbornness (who was still hanging round) and I were able to keep the grenlins at bay long enough for me to finish the run.

Here's hoping Sunday's run has fewer Gremlins :P Have a good weekend everyone! ^-^

Ah those pesky gremlins. They are very persistent aren't they? Now I have been doing 5k regularly, they have changed tactic and come for me just after halfway, on my way back. They ambush me at the bottom of the hill. Unfortunately for them, I have heard it all before...

I would take stubbornness for a running companion over motivation any day. He never leaves me, whereas motivation is somewhat of a fickle friend floundering in for a bit of glory, when it suits. Well done 👏👏👏

Very persistent, yes! But yes, I think I prefer Stubbornness as a running companion to be honest :P As you said, motivation has a habit of being a bit more fickle. Glad to hear you've found a way to beat the gremlins/keep them at bay though :)

Congratulations on completing Wk7R2 Adler, I'm still watching with interest and know that you can do this ! Keep up the good work :) I managed to run again yesterday after my two weeks out and completed Wk5R1 painful but determined (and moving like a 90 year old today!)
