Up and out at 04:40 this morning after two days rest so 5 minute warm up and we are off kept to the roads this morning as after the heavy showers we had last night had made the footpaths a bit slippery still a bit humid which keeps the pace down as it is heavy to run in any way up the incline kept a even pace round the bend and down the incline onto the main road(note to self they will be resurfacing the roads on Thursday route change required) back up to the Fox and Hounds and nearly home passed the surgery last turn for home and we are done. Two PB's today fastest 1K 6.55 minutes and fastest 5k 39.07 minutes.

Why thank you I think doing the long runs at the weekend is helping bring the times down no where near what i did during the programme got a bit lazy during the winter what with dangerous roads got back into it and just kept chipping away been lucky though not pushed to hard and got injured but never doubt it could happen. How are you getting resting up I hope or are you itching to get back out slowly running.

I am being a good little runner and resting. Had a few times when I forgot and stepped off a kerb without thinking or went down the stairs too fast but calf sent a stabbing reminder. That's eased a lot now though. Did a 2 hour gentle walk yesterday with a tea break in the middle which went well. Only a little ache just before finishing. Off to Scotland for a week tomorrow so will be walking but no route marches. Will try a gym session when I get back and re-evaluate where I am.

Thank you for asking. Have been feeling very jealous of everyone on the forum doing their runs, ha!

Enjoy Scotland and those walks! Watch out for wild haggis!! :)x

Thanks still running inside my capabilities don't want to upset the routine of knocking down the times distance is dictated by work so can only do Saturdays or Sundays depends on when i get two days rest before running.

Thanks so glad I run in the mornings as this evenings weather is likely to be damp. Are still on your welsh break or back home champing at the bit to get out.
