Brief update.....haven't posted in a while (busy, busy with B&B and work!) but lurking here when I get a few spare minutes and trying to keep up with everyone's running adventures!
Since my last post all of my runs have been short and with doggie attached due to his disappearing acts in the forest (chasing deer!). The only way to give him enough exercise is to run with him attached to me and he loves it! Although the runs are short it is like doing interval training because at times we are running flat out (well I am!) and then we do a slow jog or walk, then speed up again. See link below to a video of us running, note his new harness Maddee_6333 wez70
Other news.....hubby has started Couch25k!! He is on week 3 now and hoping to increase his fitness ready for a big mountain trek in September. The photo is of us running together for the first time - great fun
Happy summer running everyone

Hey you... I wondered if you were up to the eyes with the B and B...busy but good
What a lovey photograph and how super that you have shown Hubby what a terrific programme this is! I run, but hubby walks, but it is still good to chat about the routes we both do etc.
Thanks Old Floss. Yes, we are very busy but I am running most days (3-5k) with the dog so hopefully keeping fitness up! Looking forward to some longer runs in the Autumn ☺
Thanks! The new harness and bungee lead are great but the best thing is my new speedy zero DC waist belt - so comfy and much better because the pull is from my hips.😀
Squiggly looks like a gem. Well done to hubby for setting out on C25K! If you add a couple more dogs and a few bells, you'll be able to go out at night at Christmas and mess with people's heads
Yes, and you have to watch the humidity. There's a formula for when you shouldn't run. I'd link to it but just heading out. It's something like heat in Celsius plus humidity % should be less than 100.
