I've now been on the injury couch for 11 days with some kind of calf/heel injury which is limiting my ability to walk both on a flat and down stairs which isn't good when you have two flights of communal stairs to get down before you can leave the house!
I'm seeing a physio on Tuesday, have been doing stretches and strict non impact at the gym with lots of upper body work.
I have the race for life next Sunday and a supportive friend that will walk with me. I'd like to be able to do some interval run that day but if the physio says no that's it. Week 7 isn't far away....
