Week 4 you're outta here!

Phew! That's week 4 kicked into the long grass.

I'm amazed at how comfortable I felt at the end of this morning's session given that just over 4 weeks ago running was an alien concept for me, reserved for stick thin loonies with coloured metal badge fixations. There appeared to be plenty left in the tank at the end which I guess bodes well for the longer sessions in the weeks ahead. I'm certainly not slipping into any form of complacency though, I know it will be hard but the benefits are certainly beginning to be felt both physically and mentally.

Having said all that I'm a little disappointed that my route wasn't lined with curious bystanders trying to catch a glimpse of the new shorts...........

Well done so far you are right the benefits are well worth the effort put in the running. As to the shorts you are braver than me still running in my Ron Hill trackies but the I do run off road quite a bit so it is safer no Ticks or stinging nettles.

Well done, its great that you are feeling the benefits already. The programme really is setting you up nicely for the coming weeks.

Good luck with the rest of the plan and keep posting.

I would have come out to catch a glimpse of the new shorts only I didn't want you seeing mine and getting jealous!
