Low exercise week due to lack of childcare. Wow it's effected my mood, grumpy isn't in it. Can't wait to get back on it.
Can't get out for a run. π: Low exercise week... - Couch to 5K
Can't get out for a run. π
Can you not go first thing in the morning?
Lots of exercise to do to fill in the time until you can run.. chasing small ones around, squats, Rignold style... but holding really small ones...( did wonders for me)... miles of walking with pram/buggy...
Phew.. I am always quite relieved when I do run.. small runner in training, ( granddaughter..8 months and a speed crawler.. ) wears me out almost...!

Happy running when you do get out there
I know it's rubbish. Would be better if she would run with me but it's such a drama lol.
No chance of another Mum having her to go to school with her offspring, whilst you got in a quick run ?
Can you not run with the buggy?
Where are you on the programme?
I'm definitely more irritable as haven't run for 9 dayscdue to pulled back muscle. I feel your frustration at wanting to run but not being able to. Obviously our reasons are very different but I agree that moods are greatly effected with lack of exercise.
So it sounds as though work is as much of a barrier as childcare?
I am always banging on about this but... yoga (or similar) or even meditation. There will always be times when we can't go for a run and as much as we need to be active, we need too to be purposefully stiller. It will all contribute to the running.
Take it from me, growing up with a parent who got grumpy if he couldn't go for a run... it's not a good legacy to hand down...
