Only completed 3 runs so far and really struggling to breathe during my 60 sec jogs. Think I will do week 1 again until I feel I can cope. Don't want to give up but finding it so hard.

Struggling to take breaths

Slow down. Then slow down more until you are breathing in a controllable manner.

Believe me that as you go through the programme your breathing will settle down. Go slower until it does. The programme is designed well and it works. 👍
If you can't breathe then you need to slow down until you can hold a (albeit stilted) conversation
I couldn't jog any slower!!!
I bet you could...honest
Then cheat and walk until you get your breathing under control.
Then just repeat the same step the next time, and the next, until you can do it reasonably comfortably. Then move on.

At the beginning, even when I was running (shuffling I prefer to call it) as slow as I possibly could, I still couldn't breathe - and as for talk?!!!!! Forget that! I'm not sure at what point I stopped having to think about every breath but by the time the longer runs came along, it had sorted itself out. Keep at it and I promise, it will happen and you won't have to think about every single breath.

If you complete a run then you move on, if not, repeat it until completed, then move on. The progressive nature of the plan means that each run prepares you for the next one.
Run slow, breathe deep and you will get there.

You will do it, don't worry. We all struggled. I was a shuffler for absolutely ages but I got there in the end
Good luck!
