Ok, do just completed run 2 of week 5 and it was tough but I did it and I'm really happy . I then think great only one run left and I've finished the week . I look at the next run and it's 20 mins non stop , what's that about ???? I'm going to give it my all but it's a huge jump . Anyone else think the same ?

Toughen up, Princess.

It's 4 minutes more running over walking. You just ran sixteen mins with 4 mins walk between. Walk, not rest. That's 20 mins right there.

If you don't have faith, then trust the science.

You will ace this.

Your absolutely right, thanks for the pep talk . Bring it on !!

Not that I am a pedant but I think it was a 5 minute walk in between and 21mins total 😂

I usually go out very early - 0700 - 0730. I'll check back in here to let you know once you have finished. We WILL both have good reports.

I was thinking the same leighbev when I was first looking at the schedule but with each progression I've been amazed at how well it has gone. I know that we will succeed! This program hasn't let us down yet! I'm looking forward to run 3 tomorrow:)

Hi I'm new to the page but currently on W5R3 on Saturday terrified for it as I have been really struggling with my runs any tips?

leighbev profile image

Yes I know how you feel my plan is to just take it slow and not focus on the 20 mins just keeping going . Let me know how it goes Saturday . There are a few on here that are doing this run the weekend .

I'm doing W5R3 on Sunday and also feeling daunted by the jump up to 20 mins. I'll look forward to seeing how you get on, it might give me hope ready for my attempt!
