Week 4 Run 2

Well set off for the second of my week 4 evening jog. At first it felt like my feet had turned to lead in the first 3 min jog. Sheer determination prevailed and I made it through. Thinking to myself 'don't you dare not after all your hard work!!' After that starting stumble my legs, body and mind appeared to suddenly remembered what it was they were meant to be doing. I did however, rough the beginning complete my week 4 run 2. Now just resting before Tuesday's run. It does make me wonder though how much of this is in the mind and if your mind is not in the right mindset it wouldn't be achieved. Does that make sense? I do hope so.

Everyone...on this forum, and I really feel that, knows who or what what the pesky mind gremlins are!!

They find your weak spots and they go for them....they make your legs heavy, they make your breathing laboured, they hide out with your mo-jo and they tell you to go home.. !

Ignore them...they hate that... or squish them with every slow and steady step...turn that sheer determination into positive force..." Take that you pesky little gremlin"!

Rest up, with some exercises on your rest day and head out there...slow and steady... watch out gremlins:)
