W5R3 Completed

I did it! Really amazed at myself - I found it hard but kept going. I ran for 20 minutes!

I have been so tired today though - it's really drained me. Is that normal? I've just lazed around all day - surely I shouldn't have to revert to the couch as a result of running?

You'll be fine as long as you don't rest TOO much on your laurels (or Couch LOL) . On non-running days especially make sure you get some activity in like walking or cycling or whatever :) Congratulations on finishing one of the more trepidation-filled weeks in the programme and wishing you many more happy miles :)

Thanks John - can't believe I did it! I have a little dog who needs walking on the days we don't run - he seems to like the running best though 😊

I did W5R3 today too! Energy has been pretty good today but likely because I slept late and had a high protein brekky before heading out. And the cool breeze we've had today was a Godsend. I'm headed to Florida in 2 weeks and will have to do weeks 8&9 in the heat and humidity. Dreading it!

The breeze was lovely today wasn't it? Florida? Don't dread it - go running early in the morning and I'm sure you'll find a pool to cool off in! Good luck with the next few weeks 😊
