I was away for the weekend and the first thing I packed was my running kit. And instead of waking up late in beautiful Henley on Thames and heading for the Chocolate Cafe ( which is what I usually do) I woke up early and did Week9 run 1 along the Thames. It was stunning, the first time I had run while away from home , the first time I ran for 30 minutes, and the first time I didn't give hoot about who could see me and what I looked like in my Lidl Lycra ....... and I felt like a proper runner 🏃♀️😊🏃♀️. (Goes without saying, I went to the Chocolate Cafe afterwards)

That's because you are a proper runner, and running gear is running gear whether it's bought in LIDL or a Nike Shop. Well done on your run and enjoy your last 2 on the plan. It's nice running somewhere else away from home.

Sounds wonderful. They do say chocolate milk is a good thing to have post run 😀

Good for you. You deserved the chocolate Cafe. I am on holiday in North Yorkshire and brought running gear too. Haven't been yet as Robin Hoods Bay has HUGE hills but on next leg tomorrow will definitely go. What's happened to us.
PS. Been to Henley lots of times. Never been to chocolate cafe!! Will go next time.
