so 4 years ago bust my ankle in week 3 of c25k. got to mid week 7 this time ... had a funny sensation in Achilles - got it checked and just have to rest it for a few more days but walking fine. Then today I've tripped over the bloody fan and am sure I've broken my middle toe :-( . i am a dab hand at breaking toes - probably just about broken every one over years. anyway decidedly cheesed off. the running has been helping me with my depression and pmt.

Oh dammit! Curses! Ain't that always the way though 🙄

I tripped over a mirror the other day? Why was it even on the floor? I didn't expect it to be on the floor which is why I tripped over it. My husband is laying booby traps now 😃

My niece broke her toe the day before her wedding so couldn't wear her lovely new shoes.

Sounds like you have a few days off from running then 🙂

i blame my stupid husband (not that he knows hehe). we gave the largest bedroom to two of our daughters and therefore i have a standing fan in the corner that i have to negotiate as i cant walk round bed!!! he will pay lol

I am glad you got it checked out and that you reported back. It is a learning process for all of us, thanks.

Maybe you should design some inflatable rubber running shoes that protect your feet from the damage that you seem to want to inflict upon yourself. Have you tried ice and elevation?

I suppose another trip to the doc is in order, if it doesn't clear up.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

got my value tesco value veg on it as we speak. havent gone to minor injuries as it's only a broken toe - and they'll just strap it up and send me home. does it matter if it's the toe's knuckle though - it bent under me as opposed to bending back. have broken my toes so many times, i cant even count it!!!
