Just finished W2 and have noticed that my knees are starting to ache and feel uncomfortable. As a complete non runner before joint this... can any one suggest anything I can do ?? Advice appreciated!!

Get properly fitted running shoes somewhere that does gait analysis. Expensive but if the alternative is constant knee pain, worth it.
Stretch. My knee pain was caused by a muscle problem that is solved by stretching.
If it goes on being a problem or gets worse see a physio. That's how I know what caused my knee pain and what stretches to do to prevent it.
Thank you. I have invested in good shoes and the gait was checked. I'll try better stretches. Thank you !
Warming up properly, stretching properly, and knee-strengthening exercises are my recommendation.

Twice-a-day, every-day knee exercises:

Since stretches are so important, I purchased an App to run on my phone. It guides me through a sequence of post-run stretches, tells me how long to hold the stretch, AND plays my own cool-down playlist. LoLo Stretching on iPhone.
Thank you!! I'll certainly look into that. Your advice is really appreciated 😄
Overstriding and landing on your heels can also cause knee pain.
