Yesterday, in a moment of madness I decided to go for my second Parkrun but hadn't considered the heat as it was a fairly early start. Started in the middle of the runners but as I'm slow found myself being overtaken by lots of fast runners which was a bit soul destroying and then the 🌞made it super challenging. I kept going and did finish and took 3 minutes off my last PR but can honestly say I didn't really enjoy it. I'm searching for my initial positivity and enthusiasm. Help!! Sorry to be negative😏

Some runs are good and some runs are tough. I would be super proud of yourself and try and remember the runs that you liked, that you felt went well. Also have a look at runlikeagirls recent post for loads of good advice for making the runs more interesting and challenging during this transition period 🏃♀️
