Week 3 Run 2

After planning that I was going to do an early morning run for this one just to try it out. This morning started off eerrrr delayed nope getting up at 6 am on a sunday morning it's just not for me. I think I got has far as rolling my legs out of the bed and that was about it! The rest is just a snory blur I am afraid. Did not get out my front door in my running gear until after 9 am which I don't think is an early morning run with the sun beating down on you as you run. I think I am definetely an evening runner. Besides that, the actual run was hard, achieved and my cool down walk was making me realise how hard I was working thought my feet would give out on me but I perservered through despite the return of the hobble. If I am still like this at the end of the next run I may actually consider doing an extra run like I did with week 1 to burn of that chinese meal. Run 3 is Tuesday so may squeeze extra run in on Thursday before Week Four. However come what may I jogged for 90 seconds, jogged for 3 minutes, jogged for 90 seconds and jogged for 3 minutes. Could I have done that in week 1? NO but I can now! I sm already dreading week 4 and I am not even there yet!

Oh don't dread it, it's only a jog. It won't kill you. Go at it slowly and you'll be fine. Set off with a big grin on your face and knock the stuffing out of it.

If you go steady you can nail these sessions! Have faith in the programme and YOURSELF! Have fun. This is a brilliant programme and you can do it.
