I decided to try the speed podcast from 5k+ today. No problem I thought. 16 minutes, easy.

Yeah, not so easy.

I managed the first 3 runs but then I had to resort to walking in between the runs. I did manage to run all 6 but boy was it tough.

Something to aim at though.

They are tough! Good though and will do you good. Just take your time and have fun with them

Maybe do some consolidation runs and runs for fun.. as well.. before you head, fully into the C25K+ podcasts?

Building up the stamina and muscles takes time.. after Graduation...( not that long ago for you?) and a few weeks doing different distances and trying out different speeds etc can be fun, as well as building up the 30 minute runs.. :)

I did each of the C25K+ podcasts after a few weeks and did each one three times... as each one is giving us different disciplines ; now, as many of us do, I use them within other runs, or on their own..Speed, I love; when I don't have much time. or when I fancy a fast run. Stamina is my favourite, especially within a longer run.

So.. maybe relax and enjoy the new path... try the different things but don't push too hard. The runs teach us so much:)
