Hi all, i completed w1 but im repeating it until i feel confident about moving on. What i was wondering was, did you all change your diets when you started this? Im enjoying the training but still beating myself up for what im eating (trying not to be negative to myself but cant help it)

hi i found the more i ran the more aware of what i was eating i became, cut out crisps and sugary drinks completely. Alcohol still my big vice!

If you have completed week 1, then move on to week 2, trust the programme and trust your bodies ability.

good luck

Thankyou. Alcohol is mine too! Im drinking loads of water and eating healthily but have had a couple of small slips. I really struggled with week 1, i dont want to fail week 2 😕

Try the first run of week two and see how you get on. There is nothing stopping you repeating week 2 until you have managed three successful runs. Although, to be honest, the programme is designed to take you week by week up to running for 30 minutes so you should be OK with it.

Little 'slip ups' in diet are no problem - don't beat yourself up and have more faith in yourself and your abilities.

It appears we are on the same schedule, so far. I will be starting Week 2 Run 1 in my next session. I feel confident that I (and you) should be able to progress on schedule. It appears the program gently pushes your endurance and capabilities, always with the option of repeating a session if we feel it is necessary.

Good Luck!

Well, joblueyes63 you have raced right passed me. I will be doing Week 2 Run 1 tomorrow morning. Was going to do this a.m. But sore toe made me wait until tomorrow.

I'm feeling guilty for not doing this morning, perhaps will do this evening to catch up to you.

Have not had your issue thus far. Perhaps others have.

Good luck on your run tomorrow and I'll let you know if I do my run this p.m.

I know the guilt thing. Funny how so quickly it happens that you WANT to do it, never in a million years did i ever think id even start. Good luck tomorrow ☺
