Got back from a two week holiday (at altitude in the Andes so no energy for running) on Saturday so bright and early Sunday morning got up for my run. Yuk, I was still feeling grotty from a stomach upset after the last meal of the trip and sitting on my running shoes was an army of gremlins. 'You can't do it' they said, so I compromised and ran 20 mins, 'see, we told you' they smuggly said when I returned exhausted. So this morning I chained them together and left them under the stairs and turned to my old friend Laura.
Still not feeling 100% so decided to do a W9 run. It really helped to have Laura there in my ear again, I even ran on for a bit longer after she said stop running. So now hoping that by my next run I'll be back to normal ... I may well take Laura with me again just to get my confidence back.
