Regenerating running mojo today

Not mine, but First Born's - she has lost her mojo after coming in with the tail runner at the last two parkrun 5k's that she did in May; I have heard much moaning of the fact that she was slower on her 2nd one when she ran the route than her first when she walked the whole way so today I took her out. Today we went for interval training over 20 minutes with a 5 minute warm up & cool down either end. I'm glad it was just her & me because during the 60 second fast runs there were interesting verbal exchanges BUT she did it! We also worked on her running technique, being dyspraxic, she tends to land heavily so we practiced landing lightly and how to stretch properly. All in all, a good 30 minute session and apparently easier than when she started C25K.
