Wk7r1 that was challenging. Was really up for this already done the distance in wk6 which i really enjoyed so thought I had this in the bag.

This was hard, my over confidence meant I started of to quick but it wasn't until half way through did I realise my mistake. Also because of work most of my runs have been in the evening today in the heat was a hole new ball game.

My saving grace was that the second half of my run was through the meadow along the river which is beautiful and it lifted my spirits enough to keep me motivated.

Bye the time I was into my last 5 minutes I was digging really deep but I knew I had done this before, failure was not an option.

For my last couple of minutes I came across more people out walking and this forced me to compose myself and finish my run pretending I was in a better shape that I actually felt.

O'boy that was the most difficult run I have ever done, but I have learned a lot about myself, and take away a lot of positives.

And don't forget, you did it! Another run conquered and you get to fake the whole "runner" thing less and less each time you go out, as it gets more real... 😁

Yeah... well done😊

Yep, you need to Start really slowly while taking on oxygen in the first 8 to 10 mins to save more for the end...

Lesson learned...and well done on keeping going..

Onwards and upwards 😊
