A plan was born

Going away next week so wont be about for my usual parkrun, I've come up with a cunning plan to still do parkrun for the 2 saturdays. The plan is... to.. err well to do the parkruns. Ill be doing my first in Skipton, where ive been before (might be my 3rd there, so nothing crazy there) then going to be in Nairn, I can get a train for about Β£6 to inverness and walk from the station to parkrun, maybe 1hour journey, 20 mins on train and walking from and to. so doable. It used to be the most northerly Parkrun, now I think that honour belongs to one in st petersburg, its still the UK,s 2nd most northerly. Also I found out theres a map with all the parkruns on, just google parkrun map. Also it will be my 13th unofficial and 12th official parkrun. Also Ive done one in brighton so I must have covered almost the maximum latitude difference in the United Kingdom... Almost :(

  • Well done. That shows dedication, to fit your Park Runs in where ever you may be. That's a great idea, one I'll try to adopt.

  • Parkrun Official site parkrun.org.co.uk/events/ev... has a map and a list of all Parkruns in the Uk and other countries too

  • That's real dedication Kally! Good for you.

  • Brilliant plan Kally! I think it sounds like it's going to be a blast. A proper running adventure. It's what it's all about. Have running shoes will travel πŸƒπŸ‘

Take some photos en route and at the Parkrun, if possible, soyou have some memories of your escapade πŸ˜ƒ
