Hello, I am 24 years old and have over-skinny legs. I am also very thin, 56. I am ashamed of wearing short pants, does anybody here have suggestions?

I have "chicken legs" too (see healthunlocked.com/couchto5...... for proof!) but try to follow secksy34 's nan's advice. I have thought of getting some running tights to save the public from the sight of my legs but I think they'd be too warm for me.

If you decide on running tights please do wear short over! (It's only polite!!)

I sometimes think about how my legs look, be really couldn't give a damn, for me it's got too warm to wear long leggings, it's great to get the air to the legs!🍗🍗😁
Wanting to have more muscular arms or legs is not necessarily body dysmorphia. If you really want to build your legs up you will need to do massbuilding exercises hypertrophy, and be in caloric surplus while you do it.
So basically resistance exercise and eat more. Running is not going to be of particular help. You dont build muscle running. Lots of squats (yup!) lunges, leg extensions, deadlifts, leg curls etc. Probably the best way is to go along to a local gym (one where they have weights, not mirrors and gimmicky machines ) and ask if they can put together a programme for you. Building muscles is a slow process, but as with anything, if you are consitent you will succeed.
