Managed - very much to my surprise, as I really wasn't expecting it - to jog at less than a snail's pace for way over 30 min on Saturday morning. Having finally lost the plot and taken my gear away with me for the weekend, this morning at 6:15 I there I was staggering round Grove Park o

In Harborne Birmingham. Did over 35 mins again. Plainly astonished. My Fitbit says I was running longer and covered 3.81 miles today. Have a great Bank Holiday everyone!

Well done! but it sounds a little like you are deviating from the programme? You only need to run the length of time for the week you are doing. The rest comes on quickly afterwards. (I ran my 2nd 5k ten days after graduating in under 35 minutes, so a definite improvement for me!) ... so just a gentle reminder to stick to the programme and get that shiny graduation badge that you have worked so hard towards without injury!

I'm sort of sticking to the programme, I'll do every run in each of the remaining weeks because I'm sure I need to get much fitter yet and into a running habit. Today was my W7R2!!!! Wanted to prove something to my disbelieving self ....

Yeah but we're all ready and waiting with the balloons, whistles and cheers for your graduation day! (We don't want to see the IC :) ) Only 7 more 'it ain't so hard after all' nice and easy runs and then you are free to up the ante!

Congratulations - that's a good pace too. You weren't being chased by ducks off the lake where you - I find that makes me go faster 😁
