Running in warmer weather

Well I finally had to resort to my warm weather clothing this evening, which frankly looks even more ridiculous then my cool weather kit, and hides even less lumps, bumps and wobbly bits. Couldn't quite tell if the other runners I met this evening were giving me encouraging smiles or stifled giggles! Ah well, I have to remember not to care, and hope it will be worth it in the end 😁

  • I feel very much the same, although the only bright thing I run in are my running shoes. πŸƒ

  • That's the ticket, wobbly bits be damned! I think it helps to look ridiculous, people make way for you quicker. (Puffing like an amorous wart hog also helps) 😀

  • This made me laugh so muchπŸ˜‚

  • Bodyglide doe the job!!

  • I'm sure it was encouraging smiles but like you say it doesn't matter. Your forum friends think you are doing great btw πŸ™‚

  • Aw shucks - thanks 😊

  • You wear what you feel comfy in. It's about you, not other folk! πŸ™‚

    Well done! πŸ˜ƒ

  • I had to add to my route tonight because I'm now running further (yay me!) but it meant passing actual humans. One woman looked me up and down from head to toe with such a horrified expression that I burst out laughing. I was really tempted to start running like Phoebe from friends (not that I don't look a bit like that when I run anyway...)

  • Glad it's not just me!

  • Ha ha! I had horrified looks today too. When I got home I realised it was probably because my beetroot face was clashing with my orange top.
