So do women's running shoes not go over a size 8? Having a nightmare!

Yes they do - most of the top makes go to at least a 9 - have a look online. M&m direct, certainly do.

I've only got small feet, but have you tried wiggle or sports shoes.com? You may need to try and send back but they seem to stock a multitude of sizes.

Zalando might be a good bet for online purchases and to give you an idea of what there is and what you fancy. They go up to size 12. Have a look see 🙂

You might need to track down your local running shops for trying on purposes. You can google running shops,in your area and then visit their website and read customer comments. They should be the font of all knowledge. Not talking sports shop here by the way, but a dedicated running shop.

Mine are a 9.5! Bear in mind you'll probably need a larger size that normal due to hot feet. I'm normally a 9.

I just looked on zalando and they have some lovely ones I thought Nike might do bigger sizes and I see that so do Adidas and Brooks. Didn't have a huge study of it as I was cooking the tea

Hi there. I'm only 5' 4" but need a size 9 trainer. I wear Asics. They definitely have that size. Sportshoes.com are great for discounts and you can search by size, activity, whether you overpronate or not etc.

Hope that helps.

Thank you, I've just ordered a pair of asics in a 8.5 and a pair of new balance in a 9 to see which fits best. I don't know if I overpronate or not but I do have knock knees! 😂

Just saw this post - it's good to see that at least UK stores make an effort for girls with bigger feet. Glad you found some in the women's range. I have given up on ever having girlie running shoes and have to buy men's shoes. I'm a size 43 but wear 44.5 for running, because my toes blast holes through the uppers (they're probably gagging for fresh air).

I ended up with the 9s in the end but could have probably done with going up a size myself as my toes are also escape artists.
