I've learnt where my Achilles are!

So after really struggling with W3R3 yesterday, woke up to find my Achilles in my left ankle very painful. I think it's time to buy some better trainers after gait analysis. I am a complete newbie to this running lark - any other advice out there? Do I run tomorrow as planned or rest longer?

Sorry to hear that. Perhaps you will need new trainers, after gait analysis.

Some brufen gel on the Achilles will help, keep moving (walking) but suggest don't run for 3-4 days. When you go again, plan to run for just 1km: don't overdo it.

I've been for gait analysis today and was told my trainers were the problem.

So new shoes bought and a few days off until the swelling subsides. Thanks for your reply
