Week 8 complete!

But my hips are complaining. They're sore, in a gentle sort of way, down the tendons into the top of my legs. It feels more like the pleasurable ache after a good workout than injury, but I'm confused as I haven't had this happen before.

I'm very excited to finish at last, though! Week 8 was hard - probably related to the building heat here in southern Spain - but I'm feeling confident nonetheless.

  • Thanks! I've been focusing more on calves with my stretches (as I've had previous issues with them) so maybe need to add in some more hip related stuff.

  • How would your body remind you that you can run for 28 minutes? With a nice gentle ache!! You'll now have something reminding you every day of your running life 😀. I did a 10km cross country run yesterday and have exactly the same ache as you. Badge of Honour!
