But my hips are complaining. They're sore, in a gentle sort of way, down the tendons into the top of my legs. It feels more like the pleasurable ache after a good workout than injury, but I'm confused as I haven't had this happen before.
I'm very excited to finish at last, though! Week 8 was hard - probably related to the building heat here in southern Spain - but I'm feeling confident nonetheless.

Thanks! I've been focusing more on calves with my stretches (as I've had previous issues with them) so maybe need to add in some more hip related stuff.
How would your body remind you that you can run for 28 minutes? With a nice gentle ache!! You'll now have something reminding you every day of your running life 😀. I did a 10km cross country run yesterday and have exactly the same ache as you. Badge of Honour!
