Everything you have said there is absolutely correct. The hardest thing IS to start and the key is 'one step at a time' so don't lose track of that. You will receive lots of advice and support on this forum. Also if you have a question don't forget to check out previous posts by using the search button at the top right hand side, as there is a wealth of information posted there and every challenge you face someone will have been there, conquered and reported on. 10K..great target... but a while before that happens
Follow the programme... slow, steady and just enjoy the journey.
This is about stamina, not speed, discipline not distance...
Go at your own pace, and listen to your body...take your rest days and keep posting...
