Just about everyone 😄. Sorry couldn't resist.

Welcome aboard. You will get lots of advice and encouragement. Main piece of advice is to take it slowly and steadily. Check out the FAQs and week 1 posts on the right hand side of this page. Good luck for starting the programme, you won't regret it.

Oh yes... you are already doing waaaaaaaay better than I did starting out and of course waaaaaaaaay waaaaaaaaay better than those who vaguely think about doing something but never do.

I reckoned it was going to be a 9 month endeavour for me, optimistically, given how long it was taking me to work up to complete Week 1 sessions. But it went much more smoothly after that!

The non-running days are so valuable.

It will get easier. In a week you'll be surprised how much more you're doing for the same effort. Keep going and enjoy the journey.

It will get easier and you will completely amaze yourself as you work through each week. Trust in the programme, take additional rest days when necessary and keep posting...everyone is so supportive and will be cheering you on 😁

Most people :)

But, persevere, take your rest days (and extra ones if required) hydrate well EVERY day and you'll do just fine....oh, and take each run as slow as you can to begin with Good luck!

Please read the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which will hopefully help you.

I would guarantee that you are going too fast at present.

Relax and enjoy it and you will still get the benefit.

You will amaze yourself. Just keep to the plan and take it nice and easy. I failed many times but thanks to this Forum and the C25K plan I got there last summer and managed 10K last Autumn. You can do it, one day and one run at a time.
