I posted a couple of days ago about my first attempt at the 20 minute run was scuppered by my son's school ringing me.
Well I redid the run and all went well. Greta the gremlin piped up at the beginning as my calves felt tight when I started running, but I told her to get lost and slowed my pace and the tightness disappeared.
What really surprised me was how much I had left "in the tank" at the end of the run, I was waiting for Laura to tell me I had a minute left but when she said I could slow to a walk I was gobsmacked! This is from someone who struggled with the 3 minute run a few weeks back.
I am so pleased I did this again, roll on week 6!
