I'm thinking 'yes' myself, but that's because I know I've been working hard, post injury, and even though I know I'm nowhere near 'fit' I think I'm doing okay.
I've gone right back to the beginning on my 5k-10K app - currently on W2 R2, but I'm fitting it in around Canicross again so I've actually done more running than that implies. That said, as lots of my Canicross friends are running in a competition this Saturday, I may - finally - take myself off to a Park Run.

Ditto, and I was thinking the same. Finding it very hard work and wondering if I'll ever get there! Guess the key is to keep going and try to get some weight off, that should make things easier. Don't give up, I'm determined to get to a 10k eventually. At the moment it feels like a big ask, but knowing others feel the same has made me realise it is the weight and not that I'm too old (55yrs) .
Do not talk to me about the weight I put on while I was not running 😒 I couldn't shift from the way I was eating while I was running AND I did some 'I'm miserable because my back hurts and I wanna do stuff' extra chocolate and stuff on top of that!
