Twenty five minutes of continuous running, who would have thought that was possible?! I paced myself and focused on breathing and found it was really pretty good overall!
For the first time, I used MapMyRun today. I found the little voice popping up each km was a nice addition in between Jo Whiley's encouragement. I'm a little worried that I'll fixate on the pace, so I'm considering not tracking every single run. I want to keep enjoying it and not being too competitive with some ideal of a 30min 5k (which is currently a long way off!).
Definitely enjoying getting up and going for the run at the very beginning of the day. We bought a garden swing seat and I have my breakfast on there at the end of each run, which is a lovely way to recover and cool down and reflect on how far I've come. (I'm next to the tomato plant so my bright red face fits in perfectly.)
Can't believe I'm 2/3 of the way through this!!

You are officially a runner by completing run 3 of week 6, congratulations, onwards and upwards to week 7 which are all 3/25 minute runs, you are correct in saying that you are 2/3 through the program, not long now until you graduate. π ππΎ
I have been rerunning some of the C25K runs and I have Laura as my coach with the voice of Mapmyrun telling me the 1 Kilometre splits, on Wednesday I reran run 1 of week 2 with the 6/90 second runs and 5/2 minute walks, that took just over 2 km and around 16 minutes, once that was completed I continued running until I completed 5K.
