Not running tonite i done W5R2 last nite and it nearly killed me but i done it . But thats not why im posting .The thing is my legs were like jelly when i got in and had the usual heavy burn feeling like that lactic burn. Legs ached this morning when i got up but it was a different ache, more like the ache after a good workout [not that ive had one in 30yrs] and not the screaming ''what have you done to me'' ache . Its now 24hrs after the run and my legs have recovered much quicker than they had on previous runs, gotta be a good thing right ?
What im saying is that though the run 2 takes a lot out of you the recovery seems pretty quick , so if you struggled through run 2 you wont feel so bad 24 hrs later lol
hope you like the pic, i think it says it all for some of us

Well done - it's great when you notice how much your fitness has improved. This week I've realised that even when hurrying up the steep bit to my bus stop in the mornings, my legs don't ache nearly as much as they did even a few weeks ago. It's all good progress
