Getting off the Injury Couch

Cold fading but still in residence, a run by the river was nice but a bit disheartening when a group of sporty teenagers ran past me at the start and I subconsciously sped up to make up for feeling inadequate as a runner, causing Mam (aka She Who Must Be Obeyed at ALL Times) once again to (metaphorically) grab the back of my shirt to pull me back.

Still, it's nice to run in the sunshine

I felt a bit inadequate too but them remembered my age & carried on at my own pace. It wasn't a race & I was out to enjoy the run, which I did 😁😁

I find they generally ignore me when I'm running (I've had more trouble from teenagers when cycling!!!). Just stick to your pace and enjoying the lovely weather 🌞🏃
