Completed my current training plan for the 10k race yesterday. Managed it ok despite only doing 68% of the plan as I had several weeks off post face injury.
I will download a fresh plan for an upcoming 10k trail run in April. Well, I'll try but it might not let me if the race is too close,in which case I will just run every other day(ish)
Well done miss w. I'm coming to the realisation that the 10k I have my eye on for mid-May is probably not a realistic target. I don't think that trying to increase my 'long run' by 1km a week is going to feel possible, and suspect that my knee will let me know all about it if I try and push too far too soon.
I'm still basking in the happy glow of last night's 5.5km run - but every so often my legs remind me that actually they're a bit tired today so can I just take it easy please. Hooray for the desk job!
Hi. New here. Finished week 5 today. Going to start week 6 on Wednesday. I am currently training for a Wolf Run so though C2 5k would be a good place to start. I am currently 19 stone but have bought myself down from 22 Stone since trying to get fitter.
After a manic week when I had very little free time, I finally managed to get out again after work today. Just 20 minutes, but all felt good (only 3rd run since getting over the coughing lurgy), so hopefully will finally be able to get out regularly......fingers crossed!!
starting week 3 today, that cold when i cycled to work this morning where the hell did that cold weather come from?! not gonna lie im dreading it a little *adds long sleeved sports tops to shopping basket*
