Did W8R1 this morning and my husband came along for the first time too on my app, this was the first run with no 30 second rest intervals - just 25 mins straight running. It was a lovely clear cool morning - great for running so we headed off at about 6:20 am.
The first wee bit of running was a little hard as my calves felt a bit tight, but as we kept running, they felt better. I was able to keep up a good steady pace for pretty much the whole 25 mins - did have a couple of slower recovery sections, but was able to control my breath the whole time and finish feeling I still had a bit in the tank.
Husband was great, very encouraging and happy to run at my pace (even though it was a bit slower than his regular pace). It was really nice to run with someone - helped me keep on going and interested in the run. He says he may come again so I'm looking forward to that too!
