Consolidation Run 1 - and my husband came too!

Well that was a first!

30 years together, 25 years married, and today my husband and I ran our first run together along my graduation route. It was brilliant 😀!

He’s an occasional runner but has just started Parkrun again ready for me graduating. Unfortunately Parkrun is on hold just now, so we did our own version! I aim to get him running more regularly now 😊.

Thank you. I wasn’t sure how we would get on pace wise, but he just ran at mine. Something magic happened though as we still had two more minutes running to do at the place I usually began my cool down walk during week 9! I couldn’t believe it!

My aim is to get him out running with me more regularly now. Good for him and good for me 😊.

Running with my wife helped me to slow down, so do make sure that when you run together you stick to the pace of the slower one..........unless you are on a fast run, of course.
