Week 7 Day 2 and it's raining!!

Well actually it was hammering down and bouncing off the road when I left work but it was only a light rain when I arrived home. I dashed through the front door, threw a quick "hello" at the family as I headed off to change into my kit. Appropriately dressed for the inclement weather, the three of us (me, Michael Johnson & Peter Gabriel) headed out in to the wet & dark evening to complete the 3rd session of our non stop running for 25 mins. It was a tough one tonight as I was tired from work and the rain & wind were icy cold and there were a couple of times when I thought about stopping running and walking it but, I pushed through and finished it. I can't tell you how thrilled I was to hear Michael Johnson tell me I had finished my run. It all passed so quickly, a far cry from week 1 when 60 seconds of running seemed like a long time. There are days when running is a complete breeze and days, like today, when it feels a bit more challenging but the feeling when I finish the challenging days are so worth it. Long may it continue.

Well done Dhiny, youre showing great commitment in going out in this bad weather . This programme I think, is very much a mental challenge as well as a physical one. You've got what it takes to finish this !

Youre doing great, keep going ! :-) xxx

Well done you! Very well done!

I did my C25K through the winter of 2015... early mornings, dark, wet, windy and snowy.. challenging, but as you say, so worth it!!!

Those days, like yours today.. wow! How alive do you feel!

Onward and upward...you are getting closer! :)

Thanks everyone. I know I keep saying it but I just love this forum and it has kept me going. During my run I am composing my blog for the run and the time just whizzes past. xx

You keep running then cos your posts are fabulous!๐Ÿ˜Š
