Week 9 at last!!!

β€’9 Replies

I just got back from my second wk 9 run and am feeling very pleased with myself. I negotiated 3 hills and actually finished on one. I have one run left before I finally graduate which is frankly unbelievable! Good luck to anyone else on Week 9 this week ... the end is in sight. Or should I say the end of the beginning???

The beginning of your running life is about to start , freedom to do what run you want when you want, brilliant! Always remember though, slow and steady. The IC is not a nice place to be so build sensibly runnerπŸƒπŸ»πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜ƒπŸ‘πŸΌ

Thanks for the advice, I seem to have managed to avoid IC so far by only running once or twice a week and completing this plan at my own pace.

30 minutes to go! Amazing.

Hats off to you for those Hills. You're going to be well prepared for your post-graduate freedom.

See you on the podium...πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Well done! Nearly there now. Steady as you go πŸ˜€

Well done. Especially doing those hills. I like the phrase "The end of the beginning" I'm sure that's something like Churchill said halfway through World War 2 !! So that means you've committed yourself to running for at least a couple of years.

I read somewhere that experts reckon we could have at least 7 years of improving our running at whatever age we start ! So might be a few more than that !

Keep us all posted on your progress. Again well done.

Thanks Joepublic. I sure have committed to running... It has taken 8 months to get to the end of the plan but I can honestly say I am enjoying my running and improving all the time. In seven years time maybe I will be running up and down mountains or something. I will look forward to that LOL
