Back to week 1 run 1

I developed knee pain at week 8 before Christmas, took a month off to work on knee strength, and have started back at the beginning again. I roped in Husband this time - he used to be a runner but has an old ankle injury, so is hoping that taking it slowly from the beginning might allow him to regain his strength. He feels a bit silly taking it so easy, but hopes it will be worth it.

Trotted around the local park in the fog, then off for coffee and scones. My back's sore (I woke up with some kind of crick two days ago) but otherwise things went fine.

Well done for giving it another go, slow and steady wins the race!

Hope you both get through the programme again without incident. I'm doing C25k again for exactly the same reason (about to begin W5). Hopefully now the worst of the injuries are over. Good luck!

Well done for getting back out there both of you. I hope it's injury free all the way to graduation this time :)

How frustrating to have been so close to finishing. Working on knee strength was a good idea and hopefully you won't have any issues this time round. And hubby for company. Great work!
