Not put off by the rain that's decided to grace my town with its presence (the gremlins and goblins aren't waterproof, apparently so have been trying their best to put me off. I'm staunchly ignoring them and remembering that my running kit and towel are waiting for me at the end of my shift.)
But the combination of early mornings for work, intensive rehearsals with my am dram group (big show coming up this weekend) and late nights from that are taking bit of a toll on my stamina and whilst I'm still going to run (because the goblins gremlins and stressed monsters can't keep up with me) I'm just worried I will trip over my own feet. Oh well, that's why they invented coffee

I hope you managed to get out there and have a good run, gremlins, goblins and rain notwithstanding! I often find that when I'm tired and stressed, the run is exactly what I need to help me unwind and relax. And I always sleep well afterwards
It's great that your motivation and determination are keeping you going - well done.
Well done for getting out there. The show will soon be over & normality will return. Hopefully the forecast snow won't appear for my run this evening. Xxx
That's the spirit! Love the determination you show, it's wonderful to see. And I'm sure you'll outrun the gremlins no problem. Good luck with the big show
Sometimes when you're that tired a run really helps. I don't know why! It'll hopefully let your head switch off so you can get a good quality sleep tonight.
Running when I feel totally exhausted and overwhelmed (and running feels like the last thing I want to do), actually makes me feel much better. It helps my body catch up with the mental exhaustion.
Oh dear. I have been listening to the gremlins chatting in my ear this afternoon, and completely agreeing with them that I should have a night off tonight (even though I had a rest day yesterday). But then I read your post and now I'm thinking that if you can get out there so can I... Bother.
Roll on lighter evenings and warmer temperatures - it will not seem quite such a challenge then, hopefully!
