Dreamt of running for years, now it's time to do something about it.

I turned 56 recently and want/ need to get fitter. Am sick of feeling sluggish & my clothes not fitting. Am about to download the c25k app & begin soon.

Start tomorrow- or even better today! You won't regret it, especially if you've always wanted to be a runner. I was in a similar situation - and now I am a runner.

I did my own run/walk yesterday but have now downloaded the app so tomorrow will be my first day of my running journey.

Don't put it off, just get started. I'm 52 and started the programme in the summer. Had to restart after an operation October, but I totally love it, and you'll get lots of support in this forum too. :-)

My first official day is tomorrow morning. Need to run early as it's been so hot here.

Strike while the iron's hot and get out today if you can.

It gets easier, so don't get discouraged if it seems hard at first. Good luck!

I downloaded the app in March but only started 2 days ago🙄 I've just completed day 2 but wish I'd started ages ago. Just go for it 👍

Go for it- you won't regret it! I'm 52 and just graduated a few weeks ago. I had never run before. Yes it is still hard going but I am enjoying it and feeling so much fitter. Once you do that 1st run you won't look back!

Hoping that will be me in a couple of months. Keen to get started in the morning.
