Happy New Year! Who's running today? It's not been the nicest weather for it this morning but a good way to knock out the cobwebs for the new year!

I am! Our meal out last night mostly consisted of stodge so I have to get out and burn it off. Just waiting for my niece to arrive to collect the dog. Champing at the bit to hit the streets 😊

I want to run later - maybe even in the dark. Still at friends house after celebrations last night and we're going to walk home (about 10km) through the Munich parks. So don't know when I'll get to run, but even if it's only for 10 mins I will get out today!

Was going to do the NYD parkrun but too wet and skippy. Did the NYE one yesterday and will run tomorrow otherwise I will get cranky. At least I'm not nursing a hangover- drank water last night and just stayed in watching AHS :-)

Well done to all those who made it out today though :-D

I did a parkrun this morning. Still struggling with 5k but feel great afterwards!

I did parkrun NYE with my youngest 7yr old, a slower run than I am used to but she ran mostly the whole 5k! I have been on the ic for 2 weeks so a gentle run followed by a rest day today whilst on call.

I did it! Got a painful calf and had to stop and stretch it out 3 times, but I managed 10k. It was wet at first, and a bit windy at times, but all in all good to be out there running off the stodge, and a good running start to the new year.

I didn't manage a run today - but didn't expect to, having run yesterday. While driving back home from my parents I was very glad, too, as it rained and temp didn't get over 5 degrees the whole hundred mile journey. As I said to Mr Rainbow, I don't mind running in the rain, don't mind running in the cold. But cold *and* wet is not fun!

Well done to all those of you who did get out there today! Happy running :)
