... that you could roughly translate with "whatever you do the first day of the year, you'll do for the whole year".
With that in mind, your homework for tomorrow is to go for a pleasant run, spend some quality time with your loved ones, spend some more quality time with your partner (you know what I mean, don't you? 😉), have fun, eat well but not "too well" and finally have some well deserved rest.
Have a great 2017... but one day at the time, as it is much easier that way.
Ciao,
Saverio

That was great for me too; 2016 has been a quite difficult year for many reasons but it's also the year I "met" all of you and for that it will always be a special year for me.
It is on the cards as we speak...I am already clocking up at least nine miles a day walking with her !!!! And that includes my running and rest days !!!! She is a little gem! x
Sounds like great advice to me! I have a New Years Day parkrun tomorrow, we're hosting my parents and their friends for lunch and then I plan to spend the evening with my husband 😉
Happy new year to you, I hope things are working out well back in Italy.
Ah, wise words indeed! But maybe that is why I never seem to have a good year?! Today will be spent with some of the family (already splintered for the start of the year) while trying to keep the peace and keeping my fractured sanity!
Happy New Year, always look forward not back... xx
Well, all boxes have been unpacked and finally all the administration has been done.
Today was supposed to be my first day at the new job but the boss did not show. I've waited for almost two hours, locked outside in an unusually frosty morning, then I went home as he did not answer my phone calls... let's see how it goes tomorrow.
Apart from this hiccup, everything else is fine and I maintain a positive outlook on the future.
Wow that's some (non) start! Hope your boss actually turns up and the job is enjoyable although the first few weeks you're always still finding your feet.
Ahhh I did not read this post earlier or I would have definitely run yesterday. Instead I worked (I'm an odd bird who likes to work on Sunday). But I did run today.
