..but do watch out for ice! Ice is not good. I always head for softer ground when it's frozen, where there is less likely to be slippery ice. Happy running🙂!

Although on my dogwalk today, the choice was pretty much between hard frozen ground and utterly gloopy slippery mud!

I turned around this morning as I had planned a run not an ice skate!! As I run on country lanes I tend to run with one foot in the gutter as this has bits of frozen mud and stones that provide some grip compared to the actual road... but still need to be careful!!

I only have pavement....or a very fast busy road to run on(although somewhat quieter at 6 am). Even walking this morning was a challenge. I didn't even get to the run stage, still on my walk when I turned round so didn't turn my garmin on but it was brass monkey degrees c thats for sure!!

Pavements can be treacherous in the icy weather - I think you were very wise!
