After a busy boozy day yesterday I was quite happy to have a well deserved lie in this morning. When I eventually got up and started sorting through the Christmas chaos I came across this lovely present one of my friends had given me...

Well that was it, no slobbing on the sofa watching Around the World in 80 Days for me. It would be rude not to try out my present, so I left hubby watching Phileas Fogg (aka David Niven), used the pre-exercise oil before slipping into my running gear. And then I was off Around the Park in 30 Minutes.

So glad I went out, the sun was shining and while the gremlins tried to trip me up in the wood with discarded branches (storm Barbara I think) I had a really enjoyable run, which was rewarded with a hot shower followed by a leg rub with the post-exercise oil.

I think I've earned my place on the sofa.

A Boxing Day run is so lovely . I wonder what I did last year ? It defiantly didn't involve running.!

Well done you... I was out this morning, bright and early, but no lovely lotions for me..just a hot shower when I got back.... but, have just enjoyed my seasonal watch of Wonderful Life.. sorry I love it...

I love that film too floss 🤗 I read recently that they were going to have Cary Grant in the lead. He would have been good too but I think JS is perfect 🤗

Apparently doctors use to tell their depressed patients to go home and watch it. I have no clue if that is true or not but I've heard it said many times.....

I don't know that it made a difference to the run, but the after oil helped me relax.
