Skin is waterproof!

I had planned to leave work early & fit in a run before dark.

I left an hour later than I'd planned & the whole way home in the pouring rain, I just had to keep telling myself "skin is waterproof" "there's no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes"

I didn't allow myself to think about it too much when I got home, changed & off I set. 🌧🌧🌚

Wk9r2 in the bag and some! (35 mins). Home soaked, but good. (Funny it's hard to go into the rain, but it's not hard to have a shower!!)

Next run - hopefully Park Run on Sat am!!

No more runs in the dark for the next 3 weeks, as I finish work on Friday & should be able to run in the daylight. 🌝

  • Almost there! Good on you! :)

  • I was thinking of you saying the other C25K is 35 mins, so I just kept going!

  • Were you afraid I was behind you? ;)

  • I love your subject line: good for you for not letting a silly thing like a little weather stop you!

  • I regularly walk my dog in the rain, but that's with head to toe waterproofs - so choosing to go & run in the rain is a whole new challenge:). (lol choosing to go & run, is a whole new experiance!)

  • Well done for getting out there in the rain. Good luck for Saturday's graduation Parkrun. You've nearly done it!!!!

  • Oh congratulations, you are so close now. Parkrun for your graduation, that's just grand. Looking forward to reading your run report for that one! Have a great time. πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸŽ“πŸŽ“

  • At least when it's raining the sweat is washed off as quickly as it's produced! :)
