I was so positive on Friday and ready to start week 8 and the push to graduation but as it turns out ive hit a little speed bump, not running related, i slipped and hurt my rear end at soft play at the weekend so delayed my monday run and ventured out today instead.
It didnt take long for the pain to radiate up my back and down my leg and i knew that 28 minutes just wasnt and option so i just walked my way home.
Im not disheartened, i completed 7 weeks, i ran for 25 solid minutes, ill get back out there but just not today, and probably not this week, but ill get that graduate badge.
Ill be sticking around, cheering on everyone else until im able to join in again.

That's the spirit dipdab Sorry to hear you're in pain. Join me on the IC, we're playing Scrabble, Monopoly, practising our Christmas carols, wrapping Christmas presents and making mince pies! 🎅🏻🎅🏻🎤🎤😀😀
Of all the times to be on the IC, this time of year aint half bad, I need to finish making my christmas cards, start wrapping my presents and there are so many good movies to watch and food to make. No time to sit and sulk, too much fun to be had
Sorry to hear you're on the IC but well done for not trying to struggle on - it's bound to help you recover sooner. Have fun with all the christmassy things to do and then after this blip you'll soon be a graduate.
hi, sorry to hear about your injury dipdab, I injured my lower back in work and had to rest for two weeks after finishing week 7 run 2 and was so worried that after a couple of weeks off I would struggle but I am happy to say I am back on track I restarted week 7 and will have my final run of the week today I am glad I rested and I can tell you it feels great to get back I am also looking forward to getting that graduate badge just two more weeks to go.
Sorry yo hear of your injury. Make sure you are fully got before you start again and look back on your achievements. You will graduate - look his far you have come.
I managed to slip on the one bit that wasnt padded.
The floor are all staggered so if you imagine a lift stuck between two floors, i was standing on what would be the lift which was an artificial grass football pitch, my 2 year old dives down to the floor below i run after and slip as i go to duck down to go through the space as you need to duck under the level above if that makes any sense.
Every level other than that pitch is padded so it was just bad luck. Good exercise though 😂
