No Such Thing As Bad Weather.....

......just the wrong clothes. Today I didn't bother with running gear but donned my wet suit instead. The rain was beating against the windows when I got out of bed but by the time I hit the road it had stopped.

I managed to dodge the puddles on the way round and I varied my pace to ensure that I did not meet any cars as we both passed a puddle in case they were tempted to drench a poor runner.

I passed gazelle lady but today was one of her non communicative days.

Happy runnings

O good for you!! I popped my head out the door☔️☔️ and decided it's a late night run forecast looks better!! I admire all you early morning runners!! I have gone once or twice but strangely my times better at night! Well done though and you set up for the day! 😊

Now darling, what were you doing wearing your wetsuit? Isn't that what scuba divers wear? 😉 Seriously though, well done on puddle dodging, pace variation and don't worry about gazelle lady being non-communicative. Perhaps she is an arty sort who has her on and off days.

Don't forget your cyber family are always smiling and waving at you on your early morning runs, bidding you good morning 😀 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻

Are you going to join our virtual choir? Christmas Eve choir practice at 8am, we are singing carols at 9am on our parkruns or whenever suits us! 🎤🎶🎅🏻🎅🏻

I was planning my first Parkrun in the new year. Can't see a problem bringing it forward to Christmas Eve. Would give me a focus for the next few weeks. So providing I am not volunteering that day count me in. Though you don't want to here me sing.

Well done... an early morning and a wet one.. I remember them well. It is, really, just an attitude of mind.. you get out there and you just do it! :)

I laughed at the reference to the cars and puddles, I wrote a post on this, only it was a white van man who deliberately attempted to drown me :) Such fun :)

Happy and drier runs for the rest of your week :)

Well done - very intrepid going out in this! Your gazelle lady was probably just struck dumb by the sight of you in you wetsuit!

I was going to do an early morning run, but listened to the storm and wussed out! So, I got up early to get ahead with the day, and I will be going out later instead. (I am lucky to be the mistress of my own time, more or less!) No wet suit though. I suspect I am going to get drenched!
