Bye Bye Blackpool. Hello Portland with W7 R2

Hi Everyone,

Well, no more Golden mile for a few months. I'm back on Portland now.

I added to my route today as I am running constantly on W7. We had a wicked storm last night so today was lovely, as it was bright and dry plus everything was clean. Running in daylight is far better than my early morning runs before work.

My warmup walk takes me down to sea level and then I start my run. Today I ran along the road between Chesil beach and Portland harbour, following the roads till I got to the Sailing Academy. I then head back along the harbour to Portland Castle and from there its up hill all the way home.

I found it a bit harder today as I have done three runs on the flat in Blackpool. I certainly enjoyed the run with all the fresh air and strong wind. I put on 2.5 LBS in Blackpool but thats to be expected with a holiday. So it's back to my fitness and slimming with 172 days to my target.

I hope that you all have a great day and a good run.
